A Taylorsville man is in custody after his arrest Monday morning. Michael Jovi Simmons, 38, of McCurdy Farm LN is charged with failure to appear on charges of felony probation violation and misdemeanor larceny. He is being held in the Alexander County Detention Center with bond set at $40,000.
