Taylorsville Couple Busted

An Alexander County couple found themselves in the local lock-up after they were arrested on Friday. The charges are related to a breaking and entering at a location on Little River Church Road.

Rebecca Bailey Watts, age 64 Boone Gap LN., Taylorsville, is charged with breaking and entering, resisting arrest and assault on a detention officer. She, as of this report remains in the Alexander County Detention Center with a secured bond listed at $15,000.

Lowell Bryan Watts, age 65, of the same Taylorsville address is charged with breaking and entering. He is still listed as an inmate in the county jail. Bond is set for $5,000.
