Taylorsville Couple Busted On Drug Charges

A Taylorsville couple was arrested on Thursday by the Taylorsville Police Department.

Cindy Lee Payung, age 67, is charged with felony possession of methamphetamine and felony maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place for controlled substance. She is being held in the Alexander County Jail without bond. A court appearance is scheduled for Monday, April 7th.

Lloyd Richard Payung, age 63 is charged with maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place for controlled substance. He is being held without bond and is scheduled for court on Monday.
