Taylorsville Man Arrested Twice In Less Than 72 Hours

A Taylorsville man is facing charges following complaints from numerous locations in West Taylorsville on Friday, March 8th. Taylorsville Police and the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office located and arrested 39-year old Jeremy Sheridan Murphy and charged with two counts of resisting arrest. He remains in the Alexander County Detention Center under a secured bond of $5,000.

Murphy was arrested on Wednesday, March 6th by Taylorsville Police for disorderly conduct. He was released on bond later in the day.

Murphy has a breaking and entering charge pending in Alexander County. He also has charges awaiting trial in Caldwell County for reckless driving to endanger, hit and run with property damage, injury to personal property, simple assault, driving while impaired and second-degree trespassing.
