Brandy Diane Benge, age 32 of Taylorsville, was placed in custody on Friday, June 13th. The charges date to March when she was arrested by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office for felony possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver fentanyl, felony trafficking in opium or heroin, felony possession of schedule II controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Benge is being held in the Alexander County Detention Center under a secured bond of $75,000. A July 7th court date is scheduled.
