Steven Douglas Brown, 49, of Taylorsville, was arrested on December 25th by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office and charged with assault on a female. He is on pre-trial release on Alexander County charges of felony possession of methamphetamine, felony trafficking methamphetamine, and felony maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place for controlled substance. Those charges date back to October. In addition, he was served a warrant from Conover Police for felony larceny. Brown remains in the Alexander County Detention Center without bond.
