Stony Point Woman, Statesville Man Jailed After Alexander County Traffic Stop

As the result of a traffic stop on Sunday by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office, a man and a woman are facing felony drug charges.

26-year old Paige Elizabeth O’Neill of Stony Point was charged with felony possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center without bond pending a first court appearance.

O’Neill has pending charges in Iredell County that include felony possession of meth, felony probation violation, larceny and resisting a public officer.

30-year old William Lee Power of Statesville was also charged with felony possession methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was held without bond pending a court appearance.

Power awaits trial in Iredell County for felony possession of meth and possession of a firearm by a felon.
