Stony Point Woman Jailed After Latest Tussle With Officers

Ronna Deree Moore, age 35 of Stony Point, was taken into custody Thursday morning by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office and charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. She was placed in the County Jail with a bond set at $5,000. July 1st is listed as her next District Court Date.

Moore was given an 18 month suspended sentence on May 20th in Alexander County for assault on a government official.
