Deborah Cynthia Harmon, age 59 of Stony Point, was arrested on Friday, June 14th by the NC Highway Patrol. She was charged in connection with an accident that sent one person to a regional medical center with life-threatening injuries. Harmon was charged with felony serious injury by vehicle, driving while impaired and driving left of center. She remains in the Alexander County Detention Center with a bond set at $100,000. Harmon made a court appearance on Monday in Taylorsville.
