46-year old Stewart Brandon Mullins of Stony Point was arrested Monday by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office. He’s charged with felony breaking and entering, felony larceny after breaking and entering, felony assault by strangulation, felony violation of a domestic violence protection order with a weapon, felony probation violation and domestic criminal trespass. As of earlier today, Mullins remained in the Alexander County Detention Center under a secured bond of $125,000. A District Court date is scheduled for March 13th and a Superior Court appearance is set for March 20th in Taylorsville.
