Stony Point Man Jailed In Catawba County

Dana Dewayne Mitchem, age 40 of Stony Point, was placed in custody by authorities in Catawba County on March 11 for felony attempted breaking and entering. He is being held without bond in the Catawba County Detention Center as of earlier today.

Mitchem has a previous charge pending in Iredell County for felony probation out of county. His next court date there is scheduled for April 9th.
