The Alexander County Sheriff’s Office arrested 40-year-old John Paul Berry of Fire LN, Stony Point on Tuesday. He’s been charged with misuse of the 911 system. Berry allegedly called 911 (14 times) including (6 times) after being cautioned not use the system unless there was an emergency. Barry has a pending charge for the same offense pending in Iredell County. He also has a pending felony charge awaiting trial for felony fail to report new address as a registered sex-offender.
