Alexander James Welborn, 33 of Stony Point, was detained on Thursday by Alexander County Probation and Parole Officers and Alexander County Deputies. He was served an Iredell County warrant for assault on emergency personnel and probation violation. As of earlier today, Welborn remains in the Alexander County Jail with bond listed at $10,000.
