Stony Point Man In County Illegally Facing Series Of Charges

Hugo Salazar-Lopez, age 39, Stony Point School RD.,Stony Point was arrested on Wednesday, August 26th by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office and charged with

Felony second-degree kidnapping
Assault on a female
Crime of domestic violence
Communicating threats
Interfere with emergency communications

An immigration and customs deportation order has been placed on the suspect due to his illegal-citizen status. Salazar Lopez is currently being held in the Iredell County Detention Center on failure to appear charges of driving with license revoked.
