Stony Point Man Facing More Charges

Charges were filed against a Stony Point man this week. On Tuesday, 41-year old Brandon Lee Thomas of Stony Point was taken into custody by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office. He charged with breaking and entering, breaking and entering a motor vehicle and larceny after breaking and entering. The charges stem from an incident on July 1st off Taylorsville Mfg Road. As of earlier today, Thomas remains in the Alexander County Detention Center under a secured bond of $15,000 with a District Court appearance scheduled for Monday, August 5th.

Thomas is awaiting trial on previous Alexander County charges that include felony possession of schedule II controlled substance and driving while license revoked. He is also charged with possession of marijuana in Union County along with a Davie County Charge of driving with license revoked.
