Stony Point Man Facing Georgia Rape Charge

A Stony Point man has been arrested on a fugitive warrant from the state of Georgia.

On Monday, Alexander County Sheriff’s Deputies located 20-year old William Anthony Starnes. Starnes is wanted in Polk County, Georgia for rape. He’s been placed in the Alexander County Detention Center and is being held under a $100,000 secured bond.
