Stony Point Man Facing Felony Statutory-Sex Charges In Gaston County

A Stony Point man was arrested by the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office on January 23rd after warrants were issued by the Mt Holly Police Department . 41-year-old Jermaine Louis Scott is facing Gaston County charges that include:

Two counts of felony statutory sex offense with a child 15 years of age or younger
Felony crime against nature
Felony indecent liberties with a child
Felony first-degree kidnapping

Scott has been transferred to custody in Gaston County.
