Stony Point Man Facing Felony Drug Charge

Jeremiah Brantley York, age 38 of Stony Point, was taken into custody on Friday, March 14th by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office. He’s charged with felony possession of schedule I controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. York has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear in District Court on March 31st.

York has a previous Alexander County charge for driving with license revoked scheduled for court on April 1st. In Caldwell County charges of hit and run resulting in property damage, reckless driving with wanton disregard and driving with license revoked are also pending.
