Stony Point Man Charged With Violation Of Sex-Offender Status

Michael Todd Everidge, age 64 of Stony Point was arrested by the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office on July 24th. He was charged with failure to register with law enforcement as a registered sex-offender. The infraction is related to Everidge establishing an online account which is restricted per his conviction.

Everidge was convicted in 2025 for second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor. Court records indicate he was given a 36-month suspended sentence in Iredell County Superior Court.
