On Thursday, February 6, at around 9:54am, Alexander County 911 Communications received a call regarding a shooting victim at a residence on Mt Wesley Church Rd in Hiddenite. Deputies arrived on scene and found a white male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to his lower leg. Alexander EMS transported the victim to a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
The Alexander County Sheriff’s Office determined the shooting occurred at 1056 Johnny Martin Ln in Stony Point. The shooting is the result of an argument between several subjects.
