Stony Point Man Busted Overnight On Felony Drug Charge

Thomas Jackson Branson III, age 45, Harris ST., Stony Point, was taken into custody Friday overnight by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office. He is charged with

Felony possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver methamphetamine
Maintain a vehicle/dwelling/place for controlled substance
Possession of drug paraphernalia (2 counts)

Branson is being held without bond as additional charges are possible. The suspect in on probation for previous convictions.
