Stony Point Man Arrested On Felony Weapons Charge This Morning

Alexander County Deputies arrested Michael James Morgan Jr, age 34 of Stony Point, in the pre-dawn hours on Monday. He’s charged with possession of a firearm by a felon. Morgan was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center under a $5,000 secured bond.

Morgan is listed a felon as the result of a drug possession conviction in 2020.
