Stony Point Man Arrested After Fleeing From Vehicle Stop On Foot

Alexander County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 30-year-old Jared Lee Parks, age 30, Old Concord RD., Stony Point, early Tuesday morning. Parks was stopped for careless and reckless driving with wanton disregard and resisting arrest. He allegedly attempted to flee the vehicle stop on foot resulting in the resisting arrest charge.

No bond was issued due to Parks already being on pre-trial release. In May he was arrested in Iredell County and charged with felony possession of methamphetamine, felony possession of cocaine and felony maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place for controlled substance.
