Stony Point Couple Facing Felony Drug Charges

A Stony Point Couple was arrested and charged with felony drug offenses last week by the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office.

35-year-old Lisa Mae Cape of York Road, Stony Point is charged with felony possession of methamphetamine, felony maintaining a vehicle/dwelling or place for controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. As of earlier today, Cape remained in the Iredell County Detention Center under a secured bond listed at $15,000.

44-year old Charles Lee Williams of York Road, Stony Point is charged with felony possession of methamphetamine, felony maintaining a vehicle/dwelling or place for controlled substance, possession of schedule IV controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Williams is no longer listed in custody.

Both suspects are awaiting trial on a long list of previous charges in both Iredell and Alexander Counties.
