Stolen Vehicle Charge Lands Taylorsville Man In Jail

Codey James Matheson, age 29 of Taylorsville, was arrested Saturday by the North Carolina Highway Patrol and charged with felony possession of a stolen motor vehicle. Matheson was held over the weekend in the Alexander County Detention Center with a secured bond of $15,000. He is scheduled for a court appearance today in Taylorsville.

Matheson has a pending charge in Rowan County for assault with a deadly weapon.
