Statesville Woman Held In Alexander County Jail

Brandy Marie Dawn Black, age 27 of Satesville, was detained Wednesday and remains in the Alexander County Detention Center as of Saturday morning. Black was surrendered by her bondsman. She faces a charge of felony larceny that dates back to May 8th when she was arrested by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office.

Black faces a long list of charges in Iredell County that include felony possession of heroin, felony possession of methamphetamine, felony maintaining a vehicle, dwelling or place for controlled substance and felony probation violation.

Her next court date in Alexander County is scheduled for April 25th. She has a court date scheduled for May 3rd in Iredell County.
