Statesville Woman And Two Taylorsville Men Facing Felony Charges

Taylorsville Police Officers arrested a trio of suspects on Saturday, May 14th and charged them following the report of a robbery.

25-year old Kristen Ashley Smith of Statesville was charged with felony common law robbery, felony possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. She served warrants from Iredell County for felony possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Smith was also served with warrants from Davie County for felony probation violation and aid and abetting larceny. She remains in the Alexander County Detention Center with a secured bond of $60,000.

29-year old Cody Ben Fox of Taylorsville was charged with felony common law robbery, felony possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. After an initial court appearance on Monday, he was also cited for felony probation violation. Fox remains in the Alexander County Detention Center with a secured bond of $30,000.

42-year old Jeffrey Lynn Mays Jr. was charged with felony common law robbery. He has been released with a secured bond of $10,000. Mays was scheduled to make a court appearance on Monday, May 16th in Alexander County District Court.
