Joshua Lynn Sylvester
30-year old Joshua Lynn Sylvester, of Statesville, is being sought for assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
The charges are related to an incident on July 24th at a location on Salisbury Road. Sylvester’s whereabouts are unknown. Anyone with information about his location or the shooting is encouraged to call Statesville Police at 704-878-3406.
Statesville Police received a report of a gunshot victim at Iredell Memorial Hospital in the early morning hours of July 24th. The victim identified as William Ryan Beam, 45, of Statesville was driven to the hospital in a personal vehicle. He sustained a single gunshot to the abdomen and was later transported by Iredell County EMS to a regional medical facility. Beam told officers he was shot by an unknown assailant in the parking lot of Lisa’s Restaurant at 1411 Salisbury Road.
