Statesville Police arrested a man on Tuesday on multiple charges including impersonating an officer. 24-year-old Russell Earl Bacon of Salisbury is charged with felony attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon, felony attempted first-degree burglary, impersonating a law enforcement officer, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. The suspect is being held in the Iredell County Detention Center.
