Statesville Police say 13-year-old was shot Tuesday night.
At approximately 9:45 p.m., Officers responded to a call regarding a person being shot on the 600 block of Crescent Lane.
Police found a 13-year-old juvenile suffering from a gunshot wound to the abdomen. The young teen was airlifted to a regional medical facility.
The investigation led to a 16-year-old, who has been charged with attempted murder.
