Statesville Parole Absconder Arrested In Alexander County

Amber Danielle Scism, age 41 of Statesville, was apprehended in Alexander County on Tuesday. She’s listed as wanted as a parole absconder in Iredell County. Scism is serving a 12 month suspended sentence for felony possession of schedule II controlled substance. As of earlier today, Scism remains in the Alexander County Detention Center under a secured bond of $25,000.

Update: Scism has been transferred to Iredell County custody.
