Statesville Man Held In Alexander County Custody

A Statesville man is being held in the Alexander County Detention Center. Christopher Wayne Jarvis, age 31, was placed in custody on Tuesday for probation violation. He remains in jail under a secured bond of $10,000. A February 5th court date is scheduled in Taylorsville.

Jarvis has previous charges pending in Alexander County that include felony possession of a stolen motor vehicle, felony possession of schedule II controlled substance, possession of methamphetamine and another probation violation.
