On Sunday February 9, Alexander County Deputies arrested Caleb Levi Garland, 38-years-old, of Statesville. Garland was charged with one felony count of possession of methamphetamine, one count of domestic criminal trespass, one count of violation of a domestic violence protective order, one count of failure to appear for driving while license revoked (not impaired revocation), and one count of failure to appear for failure to maintain lane. Garland is being held in the Alexander County Detention Center under a $15,000 secured bond for the drug charge, a 48-hour hold on the domestic-related offenses, and a $1,000 secured bond on the failure-to-appear charges. His first appearance in Alexander County District Court is scheduled for February 16, 2026.
