Statesville Man Convicted Of Death By Distribution

Kaylan Obrien Brandon

Kaylan Obrien Brandon, 30, pleaded guilty in Iredell County Superior Court on July 7 to several charges, including felony death by distribution and involuntary manslaughter in connection with the November 2023 deaths of Brittany Peace and Heather Wilson.

Brandon was sentenced by Superior Court Judge Lisa Johnson-Tonkins to a minimum of 8.5 years and a maximum of 12 years in prison. Iredell County EMS personnel pronounced Peace, 33, and Wilson, 35, deceased after responding to a call at a home on South Meeting Street on November 1, 2023.
