Statesville Man Charged With Subjecting Juvenile To Sexual Servitude

On Friday the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office arrested 74-year-old Vicente Medrano Garcia, Ashland Ave., Stateville on Friday. The following charges were filed.

Felony first-degree kidnapping (4 counts)
Felony indecent liberties with a child (4 counts)

Arrest documents allege that Garcia kidnapped a female juvenile (16 or younger) and subjected her to sexual servitude. The suspect, not a legal U.S. citizen, is listed as “a close family member” of the victim.

Garcia is being held without bond in the Iredell County Detention Center.
