Steven Eugene Harris
45-year-old Steven Eugene Harris of Statesville was arrested by Hickory Police Officers earlier this morning. He’s charged with attempted first-degree murder and discharge a weapon into occupied property. Harris was placed in the Catawba County Detention Facility under no bond. A District Court appearance was scheduled today.
Update: Harris is a suspect in a drive-by shooting. He turned himself in at the Alexander County Detention Center in Taylorsville as was transferred to Hickory Police custody.
