Statesville Man Charged By Alexander County Sheriff’s Office

On Friday, June 21st, Alexander County Deputies responded to a location in Stony Point and arrested Jacob Lee Mitchell, age 29 of Statesville. He is charged with felony breaking and entering a motor vehicle and injury to personal property. He was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center and later released under a bond of $5,000. He was scheduled for District Court on Monday.

Mitchell has a list of previous charges pending in Iredell County that include felony possession of a weapon of mass destruction, felony altering a gun’s serial number, felony possession of methamphetamine, felony probation violation in addition to a series of misdemeanor offenses.
