Statesville Man Arrested In Alexander County

Statesville resident, 30-year-old Austin Young Cunningham, was arrested Wednesday morning by the NC Highway Patrol and the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office. He is charged with

Flee to elude arrest with a motor vehicle
Driving while impaired
Driving with license revoked
Possession of drug paraphernalia
Resisting arrest

Cunningham has been detained in the Alexander County Detention Center.
