LOVE VALLEY – N.C. Department of Transportation maintenance crews will close a section of Bacon Road north of Love Valley Road on Tuesday morning, weather permitting.
The closure will be in place through July 11 so crews can safely replace a pipe under the roadway.
Drivers will be detoured approximately three miles around the closure using Love Valley Road and Mountain View Road, returning to Bacon Road.
Drivers should remain alert, use caution, and reduce speed in the work zone.
