Duke Energy will begin renovations at Dusty Ridge Park on Monday, September 21. The boat access area and walking trail will be closed during construction, which is expected to continue through mid-December. The project will not affect the ballfield complex.
Once the project is complete, the walking trail will have reduced elevation changes to make it more accessible and inclusive for visitors. Improvements will also include additional parking for trail and fishing access, a bathroom for boaters, and repairs to the parking lot and boat ramp.
