Eric Rowland Tappan Jr
Eric Rowland Tappan Jr., age 56 West Jay Dr., Taylorsville, was taken into custody on Tuesday and served three-warrants for failing to notify law enforcement of address change as a registered-sex offender. He’s being held in the Alexander County Jail under a secured bond of $25,000.
In 1994, Tappan was convicted in New Jersey of felony aggravated sexual-assault. Court records indicated the victim was age-one or younger. He served 18 years in prison.
