ACHS coach Jon Presnell gets career win 100 Thursday night in Hickory. The Lady Cougars romped over Hickory. Meredith Wike led AC’s scoring with 18. Addie Jack added 11 and Malayah Adams 11. Alexander Central scored 29 points off 28 Hickory turnovers.
Pressnel’s 100 wins come after he took over a struggling program that went 2-23 the year before his arrival. ACHS went 12-14 in the 2019-2020 season and 11-4 in the COVID-shortened season that followed. Sine, the program has collected win totals of 23,20,22 and are now 12-7 this season.
Alexander Central Women and Men will travel to Ashe County Friday night.
