Portion Of Alexander County Roadway To Close Next Week For Bridge Repair

TAYLORSVILLE – The N.C. Department of Transportation will begin improving a bridge in Alexander County next week.

Robinette Road will close near Lebanon Church Lane beginning Monday while crews replace the deck on the bridge over Little Lower River. The replacement will take approximately one month, weather permitting.

During the replacement, drivers can follow Mount Olive Church Road or All Healing Springs Road to Robinette Road.

Motorists should allow additional travel time, stay alert and avoid distracted driving.
