Porch Pirate Nabbed

Some call them porch pirates. This time of year , they’re in abundance. A woman has been charged with stealing packages left at residences in Catawba and Caldwell Counties. Over the course of the last week or so a woman was shown on video going to homes in the area and taking items left by delivery companies.

Summer Hatcher of Granite Falls, NC was arrested today and charged with Misdemeanor Larceny in Caldwell County and two counts of Misdemeanor Larceny in neighboring Catawba County. She is currently being held in the Caldwell County Detention Center.
