The Morganton Department of Public Safety is looking for an armed robbery suspect.
The Shop and Save #4 on West Fleming Drive was robbed at gunpoint around 2:40 am Monday. The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of money.
The suspect was a black male, 6ft-6ft3in tall, 230-250lbs. No one was injured, but a shot was fired after a struggle. The man was wearing a black hoodie, blue work shorts and long black socks with no shoes. His face was covered.
