Taylorsville Police arrested 39-year old Marcus Doug Parsons on Saturday, May 20th. He was charged with felony possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, child abuse and going armed to the terror of the public. Parson was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center with a secured bond set at $20,000. As of earlier today, he remained in jail.
