Hickory Police have confirmed an officer-involved shooting this morning near El Paso restaurant and St. Luke’s United Methodist Church on Highway 127.
Some Police units were in the area at the time of the incident but additional details have not been released.
The victim was shot in a leg and has been taken to a hospital.
