North Wilkesboro Police Charge Man After Alleged Crime Spree

A man has been charged with breaking into more than a dozen vehicles and a North Wilkesboro business.

36-year old Anthony Ray Strickland of Boonville was arrested by North Wilkesboro Police on Friday, January 26th . He’s charged with with felony larceny of motor vehicle, felony breaking and entering and felony larceny after breaking and entering and 14 counts of breaking and entering motor vehicles. He was also served a warrant for probation violation from Yadkin County.

Strickland was placed in the Wilkes County Jail under a secured bond of $30,000. He is scheduled to make a Wilkes County District Court appearance today.
