Newton Police have charged 48-year old Lori Lea Ball of Taylorsville with possession of methamphetamine. She was also served with a fugitive extradition order from another state. Ball was taken into custody early this morning and placed in the Catawba County Detention Center. She is being held under a bond of $4,000 and is scheduled to appear in court today in Catawba County.
