Jeffery Allen Bortz, 42 of Claremont, was arrested in Alexander County on Wednesday for violating terms of his parole. He was released from prison in July after serving 41 months for felony larceny of a motor vehicle and felony possession of schedule II controlled substance. Bortz is being held without bond.
